First Run!

That's right, I'm back! After reading some blog posts about the NYC marathon I realized that I'm finally ready physically and mentally to get back out there and run. Sadly it's been about 14 months since my last run. I have been walking about a mile 2 days a week since August so hopefully that counts for something :) 

I'm starting with the couch to 5k program that I did when I very first started running back in 2007 and my goal is to work up to a half marathon sometime in 2014! My first run was with the jogging stroller which was extra challenging, especially with the wind. It went well although my knees are a bit sore the next day. I'm looking forward to more running updates to come!
